Oxford- a type of lace-up shoe with a low heel

I remember wearing these shoes when I was in elementary school.  They were this awful brown color with a thick orange sole.  Looking back on it, they were quite ugly.

Now there is a new trend that I am completely in love with.  Although the old oxford type shoe is ugly and out of the question, the new more stylish versions are really cute.  If I didn't live in a town where I would probably be looked at funny for wearing something this trendy, I would have these on my feet in a heartbeat! I may buy then anyway.
