My cup of tea.

Lately, I have become obsessed with a few things.  Here are my current obsessions:
1. Candles!  I always have one lit in my room.  I know I get this obsession from my mom.
2. Uplifting music.  I've started listening to The Fish.  Filling my heart with spiritual music is so much better than filling my head with Lady Gaga trash.
3.  Pencil skirts with pumps.  I bought two  pencil skirts last weekend and new pair of shiny black pumps.  My sense of style is maturing as I get older, and I love it.
4.  Perfume.  There is nothing like smelling delicious every day.  Now that it's winter and the air is dry, your perfume lasts throughout the day.
5. Natural light.  I always leave the windows open because I love when the sun illuminates my bedroom instead of lightbulbs.
6. Jewel tone lipstick.  I always thought lipstick was for old women, but if you have the right color it's for young women, too!
7. Tomatoes and mozarella cheese.  Perfect on a sandwich. yum
8. Organic chemistry.  It's amazing how once you begin to understand something, you learn to love it.  Without organic chemistry we would all still be growing our own food and washing our hair in mayonaise.

With obessions come dislikes, too....
1.  Taylor Swift.  She may know how to write lyrics and play a guitar, but that doesn't mean she can sing.  Her curls are created with a curling iron.
2.  The majority of college boys.  I get so tired of their immaturity.
3. Georgia weather.  Last week I was sweating and now as I'm typing there are snow flurries coming down.  Why is the weather bipolar?
