Guilty Pleasures

Since I've had a lot of times on my hands recently, I was playing around on the internet and I came across a list of guilty pleasures.  It had some really odd things on it like "Vomitting outdoors" and "old lady cereal" (Honey Bunches of Oats all the way!).  After reading the long and weird lists that random people had compiled, I decided I would come up with a list of my own guilty pleasures.

1. Chocolate - This is probably on everyone's list.  We all love chocolate, but we know we shouldn't.  We even try to make ourselves feel better about eating by telling ourselves that it is full of antioxidants.

2. Sex and the City - I love this show.  I love the ridiculous outfits, the extreme footwear, and the different personality of each character.  Why is it a guilty pleasure?  Because if someone at church asks me what my favorite show it, I'm going to feel guilty when I tell them it's Sex and the City.

3.  Looking at hairstyles - I definitely get this from my mama.  I could sit and look through pictures of hair for hours.  Every month I get the urge to change my hair and will literally look online, buy hair magazines, and ask everyone in my family how my hair would look best.  I never change my hair, though.

4. Lord of the Rings -  When the first movie came out, I was in love.  It's safe to say that my brother and I have collected three sets of LOTR movies.  We have one on VHS, one on DVD, and the extended collector's edition.  No matter how nerdy it may sound, I love LOTR.

5. Cyberstalking -   I am slowly outgrowing this guilty pleasure, but I have sat at the computer for a couple of hours at a time and stalked people on facebook.  Stop judging me!  You've all done it.
6. Bravo -  This channel is full of shows that are just trash.  The Real Housewives and Millionaire Matchmaker are my trash of choice.
7. Tabloid magazines -  I know celebrities are just normal people with insanely large paychecks, but I love to read about them.  I don't know why I have an obsession with knowing every detail of these people's lives, but I do!!
8.  Going home every weekend -  I'm in college.  I'm finally "free," yet all I want to do is go home.  I'm not into partying and hanging out with friends.  I love home and being around people who truly love me and understand me.
