For Christmas this year I asked for a sewing machine and I got one!
I've never sewn anything in my life and have never even shown any interest in it until watching the reruns of all every season of Project Runway. I've always loved crafts and you can never go wrong with good clothes, so I guess it makes sense that I've become interested in sewing.
I finished my first project last night. My dad, who is a taxidermist (lots of animal blood and guts) wanted a work apron. So what did I do....I made him one. It's not worth posting a picture; nevertheless, I am proud of it. My current project is a skirt. I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow and I will post picture of it when it is complete.
